I Got Sauce

Applesauce, that is

Stand By Me

I can finally stand all by myself. But I still need the couch, or a nice set of hands, to help me balance.

Carnivore

I love meat, but this is my first foray into eating it off the bone. Dad's pork ribs were perfect for the experiment.

Pretty Peas

Just checking out my pea plants. I should have something to harvest within the next few weeks.

90 Degree Angles

It is a good thing we didn't have to go far to pick up dinner this evening because sleeping like for too much longer would have left a killer kink in my neck.

Ni Hao, Mr. Caterpillar!

At story hour I listened to them read the Very Hungry Caterpillar in Chinese. They also taught us how to say "hello" and a few other words. Pretty soon I'll be talking in no time - in English or maybe Chinese.

Towhead

I am finally starting to get some hair. If it gets any longer I am going to look like this guy.

My PFD and Me

This is what you wear in my house when you want to go wave jumping with Dad.

And on my second trip to the beach, I also have decided that sand it pretty tasty.

Rain Delay

The rain prevented my from hitting the pool or beach, so instead I sat on the porch and watched the storms.

Playground

I also got to check out a new playground while I was on vacation. The swing was fun but not a cool as the one back home. But I did enjoy going down the slide for the first time.

Beach Baby

I also got to dip my toe in the Atlantic Ocean on this trip. I love playing in the water.

Pool Party

This is the first time I have ever played in a pool, and I had a great time splashing Mom.

Arby's

I hit the road for a quick weekend away, and do you know what that means? A stop at Arby's! Only this time I don't just get to smell it, I get to taste it. Yummy!

Swing Time II

Mom needed to get some work done in the garden so I decided to kill some time in my favorite swing

Tennis Pro

Mom got this funny looking thing out of the closet because she is going to meet Auntie Emily later on today to play this game called "tennis." I am not quite sure how to use this thing yet, but I think I have a taste for the game already. Literally.

Mother's Day Crab Fest

I spent my first Mother's Day cruising around southern Maryland and happened upon this dive bar that served amazing Maryland blue crabs. I don't have time for rice and mum-mums when there is blue crab around.

Graduation Celebration

Auntie Lisa finally graduated with her master's degree so we threw a party to celebrate. I would be even more excited for her if she would bring that cake a little closer.

My Little Buttercup

I spend a lot of time with the Dogs in the cemetery. But it is also a great place for me to explore the cherry blossoms and the buttercups.

Crabs and More Pickles

I need to get myself out from under the dinning room table because we have folks coming over to show me how to eat stone crabs. And I already have my own mallet.
(May 9, 2013)

In a Pickle

Now that I am learning to move around, I am always finding myself stuck under things. It doesn't take me long to let those around me know that I am in a little bit of a pickle.

Birthday Boy

I helped Dad celebrate his birthday and made him this great card.  This was my first attempt at a craft project, and I have a feeling he will be getting many more of them to come.

Before and After

This is me before I nod off to sleep.
And this is me after a few hours. Notice how I am able to turn 180 degrees without hardly waking up.

Cinco de Mayo

I met a whole bunch of new people at our little Cinco de Mayo party. And as always, everyone wanted to hold me.
(May 5, 2013)

Reverse Only

I would much rather play in my scooter than help Mom with the yard work. Now if I could just figure out how to put this into drive.

On the Mend

Those vaccines really took it out of me. I am feeling better but still have a ways to go.

Multi-Purpose Flowers

I am just over six months old so it was my turn to have an exam today. I am in the 60th percentile in weight, and at 27 inches long, I am in the 90th percentile in height. This means I am tall and slender. Unlike my roommates.
But that also meant I was due for another round of vaccines. They made me feel sick all day, but the flowers I received from Grandma and Grandpa VZ made me feel much better. (These flowers were supposed to be delivered yesterday for May Day but didn't arrive until today. I am glad they were late because I think they make a great "Get Well" bouquet.)

Doggie Check Up

I met another veterinarian today when we took Mickey and Bubbles in for their annual exam. I love dogs so maybe I'll be a vet when I grow up.

Toy Owners

It might not look like it, but that is actually one of the dogs' toys.
But that doesn't stop me from using it as a pillow.

Learner's Permit

My little legs are long enough so I can finally touch the ground. I am getting pretty good at going in reverse.  And before too long I'll probably be getting speeding tickets!

Azaleas

The National Arboretum has a wonderful display of azalea blossoms this time of year. But the cherry blossoms are still my favorite.
