I live in Washington, D.C. with my mom and dad, but I have friends and family I love all over the country. I use this space to keep in touch with everyone!
It is a good thing we didn't have to go far to pick up dinner this evening because sleeping like for too much longer would have left a killer kink in my neck.
At story hour I listened to them read the Very Hungry Caterpillar in Chinese. They also taught us how to say "hello" and a few other words. Pretty soon I'll be talking in no time - in English or maybe Chinese.
I also got to check out a new playground while I was on vacation. The swing was fun but not a cool as the one back home. But I did enjoy going down the slide for the first time.
I hit the road for a quick weekend away, and do you know what that means? A stop at Arby's! Only this time I don't just get to smell it, I get to taste it. Yummy!
Mom got this funny looking thing out of the closet because she is going to meet Auntie Emily later on today to play this game called "tennis." I am not quite sure how to use this thing yet, but I think I have a taste for the game already. Literally.
I spent my first Mother's Day cruising around southern Maryland and happened upon this dive bar that served amazing Maryland blue crabs. I don't have time for rice and mum-mums when there is blue crab around.
Auntie Lisa finally graduated with her master's degree so we threw a party to celebrate. I would be even more excited for her if she would bring that cake a little closer.

I need to get myself out from under the dinning room table because we have folks coming over to show me how to eat stone crabs. And I already have my own mallet.
Now that I am learning to move around, I am always finding myself stuck under things. It doesn't take me long to let those around me know that I am in a little bit of a pickle. (May 8, 2013)
I helped Dad celebrate his birthday and made him this great card. This was my first attempt at a craft project, and I have a feeling he will be getting many more of them to come.
I am just over six months old so it was my turn to have an exam today. I am in the 60th percentile in weight, and at 27 inches long, I am in the 90th percentile in height. This means I am tall and slender. Unlike my roommates.
But that also meant I was due for another round of vaccines. They made me feel sick all day, but the flowers I received from Grandma and Grandpa VZ made me feel much better. (These flowers were supposed to be delivered yesterday for May Day but didn't arrive until today. I am glad they were late because I think they make a great "Get Well" bouquet.)
My little legs are long enough so I can finally touch the ground. I am getting pretty good at going in reverse. And before too long I'll probably be getting speeding tickets!
