At story hour I listened to them read the Very Hungry Caterpillar in Chinese. They also taught us how to say "hello" and a few other words. Pretty soon I'll be talking in no time - in English or maybe Chinese.

I spent my first Mother's Day cruising around southern Maryland and happened upon this dive bar that served amazing Maryland blue crabs. I don't have time for rice and mum-mums when there is blue crab around.

Multi-Purpose Flowers

I am just over six months old so it was my turn to have an exam today. I am in the 60th percentile in weight, and at 27 inches long, I am in the 90th percentile in height. This means I am tall and slender. Unlike my roommates. 

But that also meant I was due for another round of vaccines. They made me feel sick all day, but the flowers I received from Grandma and Grandpa VZ made me feel much better. (These flowers were supposed to be delivered yesterday for May Day but didn't arrive until today. I am glad they were late because I think they make a great "Get Well" bouquet.)

I met another veterinarian today when we took Mickey and Bubbles in for their annual exam. I love dogs so maybe I'll be a vet when I grow up.

The National Arboretum has a wonderful display of azalea blossoms this time of year. But the cherry blossoms are still my favorite.
